I just got an Asus Transformer and I’ve been using the mobile site for tumblr, but its a little clunky and loads pretty slow with this screen size. The official tumblr app isn’t compatible with tablets either.
(I would ask this on my personal blog but i have more followers here, hoping for more responses)

Not sure what android tablets are like, but on Apple, you can view the web page in your browser, then pin it to the home screen as an ‘app’. Works much smoother on the iPad vs the app itself.
